Use the Add A Quarter 6″ with Templates or when Foundation Piecing.
With templates – combine the speed of rotary cutting with the accuracy of using templates. Position the add a quarter ruler (lip side down) snugly against one edge of the template. Cut with your rotary cutter. The add a quarter lip has added your 1/4″ seam allowance to your template.
With foundation piecing – the add a quarter allows you to use your rotary cutter when foundation piecing to trim excess fabric, and provide a straight line for placement of the next fabric piece.
