Already October!

New Website Coming Soon! Keep Checking back to see the new look, I’m working hard in the background to get the new site ready to view. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see, please get in touch via my Contact Form today.

For a variety of reasons, we have ceased production of our invention, the RuleSteady. Thank you everyone for your support, it means a LOT. We have had the most wonderful feedback from all of our customers, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. We still have a few spare parts, so if you need anything just get in touch.

I continue to sell a variety of notions & rulers, batting too. My main supplier is Victorian Textiles – the home of Matilda’s Own products. All those great rulers & templates, lots of different threads & handy notions. Even if it’s not listed on my site, if they have it in stock I can get it for you. So, check out their website www.victoriantextiles.com.au and let me know if you need anything. My pricing is very competitive.

Do you live in Victoria and are looking for some like-minded people to share your passion? Or just to chat? Have a look at the Victorian Quilters Inc. website, www.victorianquilters.org. There is a map on the page which shows Member Groups, shops, retreats & teachers too.

Have you all been busy sewing tops & now they need to be made into quilts? The wool/poly batting  here is straight off the bolt. This combination is  preferred by many quilters for good reason – and great value to boot. Don’t forget to stock up on 505 basting spray – or there are pins if you prefer that method.

If boredom has set in & you’re looking for another project, take a browse through my patterns page for some inspiration. I’m super stoked to say I’ve taken a large shipment from Koolkat Quilting & am slowly uploading them.

Don’t ignore your rotary cutter – fresh blades make a world of difference. Olfa and Clover blades both available in a variety of sizes (listed below).

Lots of handy notions to make our lives easier are available. AND – lucky me! I live not far from Therese Hylton (of Patchwork Pumpkin), so whilst she’s still happy to supply me with patterns, I’m able to ship them out.

If you don’t see the item/s you want, please contact me as I will do my best to source items for you – at great prices!

Sewing Sanity Savers

How a stitch is made

Here is a short video of how a lockstitch is created on a sewing machine.
Isn’t it hypnotic?
It boggles my mind how somebody thought this up!

If you’re looking for something particular & can’t find it on my site, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’m happy to help out.
